CITY OF HOLLYWOOD - A trip and fall that occurred on Young Kidz Academy, Inc. property in Hollywood, Florida call for a lawsuit filed on September 7, 2016.

On March 1, 2016, Lyeisha Briggs was lawfully on the property when she was caused to trip and fall on a metal plate on the ground that was mis-leveled.

As a result, the Plaintiff suffered serious and continuing injuries including, but not limited to, mental anguish, aggravating a pre-existing condition, physical handicap, and psychological injuries. 

According to the complaint, the mis-leveled metal plate had existed for long enough that it was known to them or should have known of them. 

The Plaintiff now sues the Defendant for compensatory damages in excess of the minimum jurisdictional requirements of $15,000 and is represented by Richard A. Bolton, Esq. of Bolton & Gross in North Miami Beach.
