MARGATE - Walmart is being sued for negligence after a slip and fall that occurred in a store in Margate, according to a complaint filed on October 10, 2016.
The Plaintiff, Kishur Ramoutar, alleges Walmart is responsible for her slip and fall on May 5, 2015 due to negligently failing to exercise due care to maintain the premises in a safe condition and failing to warn her about the dangerous condition.
As a result of the fall, the Plaintiff sustained serious injuries including, but not limited to, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, and incurred the expenses of hospitalization and nursing care and treatment.
The Plaintiff demands judgment for damages against the Defendant in an amount in excess of $15,000 and is represented by Juan Asconape, Esq. of Schwed, Adams, Sobel, & McGinley, P.A. in Palm Beach Gardens.
