MARGATE - According to a complaint filed on November 2, 2016, Walmart is being sued for negligence due to a slip and fall.
On June 20, 2015, the Plaintiff, Joyce Woisard, was shopping in the premises when a liquid substance that was left on the floor of an aisle caused her to slip and fall. She alleges the Defendant was negligent by failing to properly maintain the floor and failing to warn her about the dangerous condition in that aisle.
As a result of her fall, the Plaintiff suffered serious injuries including, but not limited to, mental pain and suffering, permanent injuries, anguish, grief, loss of earning, and impairment of earning capacity. Additionally, the Plaintiff was forced to incur medical expenses.
The Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000 plus costs. Additionally, the Plaintiff is represented by Jordan M.Kirby, ESQ. of Rubenstein Law, P.A in Fort Lauderdale.
