PEMBROKE LAKES - Pembroke Lakes Mall is being sued for negligence after a slip and fall on their property. 

On October 29, 2015, Sulamy Montesino was lawfully on the Defendant's property when she was caused to slip and fall on a dirty, slippery liquid that was left on the floor. The Plaintiff holds the Defendant responsible for the incident and alleges they were negligent by failing to maintain the area in a safe and proper condition and by failing to warn the plaintiff about the dangerous condition. 

5As a direct and proximate result of the negligence of the Defendant, the Plaintiff suffered various injuries including, physical handicap and suffered from lost wages, loss of ability to earn money int he past and future, and aggravation of a previously existing condition. The Plaintiff now demands judgment against the Defendant in an amount in excess of $15,000 and a trial by jury. The Plaintiff is represented by William C. Ruggiero, Esq. of the Law Offices of William C. Ruggiero in Fort Lauderdale.
