PLANTATION - A complaint filed on October 13, 2016 shows a man is suing Sears Roebuck & Co., alleging negligence after a trip and fall.
According to the complaint, the Plaintiff, Herman Stelljes, was delivering auto parts to the Defendant on February 23, 2015 when he was caused to trip and fall due to a chip at or near a drain obstructing the walkway.
As a result of the fall, the Plaintiff sustained serious injuries including, but not limited to, pain and suffering, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of hospitalization, mental anguish, and many more injuries.
The Plaintiff demands judgment for compensatory damages against the Defendant and further demands a trial by jury of all issues so triable. He is represented by Alan D. Sackrin, Esq. of The Law Office of Alan D. Sackrin in Hallandale Beach.
