FORT LAUDERDALE - A man from Broward County is suing two people on two counts of auto negligence.

The Plaintiff, Merlin Mondelus, filed a complaint on September 5, 2016, in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court against Anthony P. Crimp and David L. Norman alleging David negligently operated a vehicle owned by Anthony with permission and consent, causing the vehicle to strike the vehicle Merlin was operating.

According to the complaint, on July 20, 2015, the Defendant, Anthony gave permission and consent to David to operate his vehicle. On the first count, David is found negligent by operating and maintaining the vehicle in an unsafe manner. As a result, the vehicle struck Merlin's vehicle. Due to his negligence, Merlin sustained injuries including, but not limited to; disfigurement, disability, and loss of earnings. On the second count, Anthony is found vicariously liable for David's negligent actions.

The Plaintiff request a trial by jury of all issues and demands judgment against David L. Norman and Anthony P. Crimp for compensatory damages in excess of $15,000.00, costs, and interest. He is represented by James E. Leano, Esq. of James E. Leano, P.A. in Coconut Grove.
