CORAL SPRINGS - Man and wife from Palm Beach County allege two counts of negligence against two men.

Plaintiffs, John and Nancy Morales, filed a complaint on September 6, 2016 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court against Joshua Michael Boyer and Mark Carmichael Williams alleging Boyer negligently operated a motor vehicle belonging to Williams with knowledge and consent, causing a collision with John's vehicle.

According to the complaint, on November 14, 2014, Boyer was operating a 2012 Kia Forte with the full knowledge and consent of the owner, Williams. Due to his negligent driving, the vehicle collided into the rear of the vehicle being operated by John. As a result, John suffered permanent injury including, but not limited to; mental anguish, pain and suffering, and loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life. John will continue to suffer in the future.

On the first count, Boyer is found negligent for operating and/or maintaining the vehicle in an unsafe manner, and Williams is held vicariously liable for the negligence of Boyer. On the second count, Boyer's and Williams' negligence cause Nancy to suffer a loss of services, companionship, and the consortium of her husband.

The Plaintiffs requests a trial by jury of all issues and demands judgment against Joshua Michael Boyer and Mark Carmichael Williams for compensatory damages in excess of $15,000, costs, interests, attorney fees, and any relief the court may deem just. They are represented by Edward A. Guarini, Jr., Esq. of The Law Offices of Edward A. Guarini, Jr., P.A. in Boca Raton.
