OAKLAND PARK - Condominium Association is being sued for negligence after a slip and fall that occurred on the premises.
Jose Velazquez filed a lawsuit on October 6, 2016 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court alleging that Village Park At Oakland Park Condominium Association, Inc. is responsible for his slip and fall.
According to the complaint, the fall happened on April 9, 2014 while he was walking down the stairs due to dangerously slippery steps. He sustained serious injuries including, but not limited to, pain and suffering, disfigurement, and aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
Jose Velazquez demands judgment against the Defendant for damages in excess of $15,000, in addition to costs, further demands trial by jury, and is represented by Michael W. Wallace, Esq. of Robert J. Fenstersheib & Associates, P.A. in Hallandale Beach.
The Plaintiff alleges the Defendant was negligent in failing to maintain the stairway in a safe manner, and failing to warn the Plaintiff about the dangerous condition.
